Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN and HLN's numerous platforms. The TV show she hosts, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30, 2012. In addition, she is an on-camera meteorologist as well as the co-executive director. Her book EXTREME WINTER came out in the UK by Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. Every week, three days Schneider also worked as the reporter for WB56 on WLVI TV in Boston. Prior to WB56, she worked as the weekend meteorologist for WFOR-TV located in Miami. She worked in a variety of meteorology and reportage positions, including News 12 Long Island (a 24 hour cable TV news channel) as well as WXII-TV, both in Winston-Salem. She was also a regular guest for The Saturday Early Show, she was meteorologist at CBS within New York City.
