Kellie martin is an American actress in television, film as well as stage actor. Her most well-known role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Additionally, she's famous for her role as the main character in her own Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin, born to a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher started her career acting at the age of seven when her aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". In the years following the time of her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting, and managed to land substantial roles in both cinema and television. Martin has a background as an actress and a skilled photographer and dancer, has been working in the field for more than twenty years. Since she is a mother of two children, she has become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. Martin has promoted awareness of this disease ever since her younger sister passed away in the age of 19.
