Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. An California born, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. But, she made the decision to go after a job as an actor. Her screen debut was in an episode from 2010 on CBS's 'NCIS. Her big-screen debut occurred a year later with the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. She quickly became one of the best young actors on the scene over the next few several years. The performance she gave on 'NCIS has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series featuring the appearance of a Guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. In 2013 she was nominated to win an additional Young Artist Award for her performance as a guest in the Disney XD comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano had a role in the ensemble cast of Mom for its first three years and appeared numerous times during the fourth. The year 2015 was the year she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her role in Mom.
